Hello everyone! This is our first blog, and we’re thrilled to introduce ourselves. My name is San, and I work in a bank in India. I’m in retail banking, and I’ve been in the banking industry for over a decade. But here’s the thing: I’ve always been fascinated by coding.
I first got interested in coding in 2021. I stumbled upon a YouTube recommendation about coding, and it was like a lightbulb went off in my head. I knew I had to learn more.
I’m a commerce graduate, but I’ve never had any experience with software engineering or programming. I’ve been in banking and finance for the past 15 years, but I always felt like there was something more I could do.
My friend Prat is an engineer, but he decided to switch to banking in 2011. He’s been in banking and finance ever since, but he’s always been passionate about coding. When we got the chance to work together, we started talking about Python. It was like we were speaking the same language.
We both started learning Python by taking courses on Coursera. We learned about Git, GitHub, the command line interface, APIs, AI/ML, and more. We thought it would be great to help people like us who are over 35 or 40 and want to learn coding. We want to help them change their careers, become entrepreneurs, or build something extraordinary.
That’s why we created this blog. We want to share our knowledge and learn from others as well.
So, that’s our story. We hope you’ll join us on this journey and help spread the love of coding!
Zenalys is a combination of ‘zen’ (core) and ‘alys’ (analysis), which stands for analyzing your core potential.
Our work hours begin at 9 am and conclude at 7 pm. We dedicate ourselves fully, as this is our primary source of income. Coding has always intrigued me because it enables you to create virtually anything on a computer and share it globally via the internet. We aim to teach you the basics of Python for free, followed by insights into artificial intelligence and machine learning. Additionally, we will keep you updated with the latest and most exciting developments in generative AI and specific AI applications to help you get acquainted with the tools emerging from these technologies. Our objective is to inspire you to learn and innovate, leading to long-term benefits for yourself.
